Old toys from the 80s
Hey all!
Did you enjoy the Super Bowl? As I mentioned, Michael and I still had our usual steak, wine, and popcorn…only we used cute little football plates and napkins.
Even if you don’t give a flying Fig Newton about the game, you can still get into the spirit!
I loved the responses the other day about your favorite childhood cartoons. Just for fun, I pulled out some of my old toys yesterday afternoon (can’t believe that I still have them!) and did some reminiscing.
The poor My Little Pony has seen better days…
The fact that I still get excited over these little guys proves that I haven’t changed much…or matured much…over the years.
I’m eating a bowl of Puffins Original cereal this morning for the first time (I picked up a box from Trader Joe’s on Friday).
Verdict? I love it!! It just might be the best cereal that I’ve ever had…and it isn’t loaded with sugar and gunk.
What is your favorite healthy cereal? I also like Kashi Go Lean Crunch (even though sometimes it can be TOO crunchy).
Have a great day!

i liek Kashi Go Lean! the crunch kind is good too but oh too sweet!! I LOVE CAREBEARS>. my friends used to call me Carebear.. well they still do- hah!
i can’t believe you still have all those toys! that is awesome.
I even found old VHS tapes! I don’t own a VHS player any more though, but it is probably just as well. Maturity needs to start at some point.
Mmm cereal. I really like this one Kashi puffy honey kind, but I can’t remember what it’s called. I’ve never tried the Puffins kind, but I keep seeing it everywhere so I might have to check it out!
I saw Puffins everywhere and finally couldn’t take it anymore. I had to buy them! I love the original so much. I haven’t tried any of the others yet though. And I know what Kashi cereal you’re talking about. I haven’t tried that one either, but I plan on it!
Ok you HAVE to try the Puffins Peanut Butter – AMAZING. I used to bag them up for a snack, they’re so good. The cinammon are yummy too
