Non-Toxic Beauty (Giveaway)

*** This giveaway has ended. ***

I’ve mentioned in the past that, in addition to eating whole foods, I try to use products that are as natural as possible.  This is especially true of any product that I put on my skin.

Why?

Because everything that we put on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream.

This includes soap, shaving cream, body lotion, deodorant, mouthwash, toothpaste, makeup, shampoo, and any other products we use.  (Source)

Kind of scary, isn’t it?

Throughout the past several months, I’ve gradually switched over from toxic to non-toxic beauty products.  I’ll admit that it was difficult to say goodbye to some of my beloved favorites, but finding and discovering new products was actually a lot of fun.  Plus, it gave me a really good excuse to shop! ;)

Since I now have so many wonderful products to tell you about, I’m going to do a series of posts on Non-Toxic Beauty throughout the rest of the month.

And what better way to kick off the series than with a giveaway?

The wonderful people at Eco Lips are going to send one lucky winner some Eco Lips Gold Balm on an Eco Clip.  Their balms make my lips feel nice and soft, and I especially love their Eco Tints because they give just a subtle hint of color.

With the mission of satisfying the needs of every customer, Eco Lips has been first to market with several innovative organic lip care products and packages.  With environmental initiatives in place, a focused marketing and sales strategy, award winning packaging, and a relaxed, yet productive work environment, Eco Lips is making its way around the world, one set of lips at a time.
