Thunderstorms & healthy eats from the week
Happy Friday!
Has anyone else had major thunderstorms in their area lately? I swear, we have one every single day.
I’ve always loved rainy days, especially when I have cleaning and laundry to do, but it is getting kind of ridiculous! My backyard feels like a swamp.
I’m hoping that we catch a break this weekend because I’d love some pool time. I am trying to squeeze in as much sun as possible before our neighborhood pool closes for the season.

Being that it’s Friday, I’m going to share my healthy eats from the week!
Unfortunately, my laptop is at the Apple store for the next 1-3 days and a lot of my photos were saved on it.
Even so, I still have a few healthy meals and foods to show you.
Healthy Eats from the Week
Veggie sandwich and butternut squash soup
Salmon salad with corn, red onion, romaine, avocado, & tomato (drizzled with olive oil)
Protein pancakes with blueberries and strawberries
Clif Kid Z bar in honey graham
Green smoothie with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, kale, strawberries, banana, almond butter, & vanilla protein powder
Splurge of the Week
I’m sure that this one won’t come as a surprise…
Michael has been in Argentina since Sunday afternoon, and he finally comes home today. I’m so excited to see him!
Tonight we’re going to try a (new-to-us) Mediterranean restaurant since we’ve heard such great things about it. I’ll recap it on Monday for sure!

I’d be lost without bread! I’ll pretend that the sandwich wasn’t that good though, if it makes you feel better.
I just had organic blueberry flax granola with honey yoghurt. It was really good.
