Accessorizing & healthy eats from the week (9/21)
I’m really into accessorizing lately.
It’s probably because I’m completely sick and tired of my maternity clothes, and accessories are a great way to make wearing them a bit more enjoyable.
I’ve found really great pieces on eBay, etsy, and at Target, and just recently, my parents bought these pretty bracelets for me when they were in Italy.
My favorite local shop for purchasing my jewelry is called The Jewel Box. Ever since I moved to Charlotte, I’ve been obsessed.
Whenever my friends from New York come down here to visit, they always go crazy in there (I’m talking to you, Michelle!).
Right now, anyone who “likes” their Facebook page can get a free pair of earrings. Unfortunately, I think this is limited to those living in the Charlotte area.
I picked mine up already, and I just thought I’d spread the word!

Veggie omelet with a side of pineapple
Cocktail shrimp (even if the sauce isn’t the healthiest…)
Salad with roasted veggies and tofu
Tofu stir fry
Grass Skirt Smoothie made with coconut milk & kale
Caramelized onion, red pepper, & zucchini frittata with sprouted whole wheat & rye toast
Greek yogurt with mango chunks, kiwi, strawberries, and flaxseed
Salad with oven roasted chicken
Where do you usually purchase your jewelry? Do you have a local boutique near you that sells unique pieces?
What are your favorite kinds of accessories? I’m really into big statement necklaces and bracelets lately, and I also love scarves. They are such a great way to make a plain t-shirt look stylish.
