Mini weekend recap & recipe rave
This past weekend wasn’t all too exciting, but it was nice to spend some time with Michael, especially since he worked pretty long hours last week.
I had lots of contractions throughout the weekend, and any time we left the house, we made sure that my hospital bag was in the car.
Check out how uncomfortable I looked when we ate lunch at Brixx…
When we took our practice drive to the hospital, Michael half-jokingly asked if we really needed to go inside. Unfortunately, my contractions haven’t been consistent enough for the real thing.
I’ve just got lots of false labor going on right now.
Oh and while I was washing dishes yesterday, I thought my water broke, but it turned out that I just splashed lots of water out of the sink while I was cleaning.
Pregnancy brain at its finest.
Despite feeling like I could pop at any moment, Michael and I enjoyed our usual Sunday night routine.
He had steak, but I had fish because I really wanted to try this recipe for Dijon herb salmon.
I cannot even tell you how delicious it tasted! If I make it a few more days without going into labor, I’m definitely going to make it again, so Michael can try it too.
It’s a dreary rainy day today (which I love), so I am just doing laundry and relaxing. I might as well enjoy the temporary peace and quiet!
What did you do over the weekend?
Have you discovered a new recipe lately that you completely loved? Links are welcome!

LOL. If salmon is anywhere around, it is always really hard for me to pass it up!
I have been on a hot slaw kick lately – just stirfry cabbage, bok choy, carrots, peppers, etc. – YUM! I love salmon and will have to check out this recipe. Happy Monday:)
Sounds so good! I hope that your week is off to a great start.
