Weekly round-up (10/20)

Happy weekend!

It’s a beautiful day here in Charlotte, so I definitely plan on taking a walk to get the labor process moving along. :)

I also recently got some new nail polishes (more on that next week) and bath products, so I’m thinking that a girly at-home spa day might be in order.

But before I leave you for the weekend, here’s the weekly round-up!

Posts from the week

Mini weekend recap & recipe rave
Oatmeal cookie craving
Easy fall dessert (the baking continues)
Forgetful husband & healthy eats from the week

A little inspiration

A little humor

Links that I loved this week

Up, Close and Personal (Simply Just Lovely)

Pumpkin Pie Granola (Dashing Dish)

Sauteed Cinnamon Apples with Oatmeal (Food-Fitness-FreshAir)

The Crocs image specifically goes out to my husband.  About three years ago, he bought me a pair of pink Crocs for Valentine’s Day as a joke, and he’s dared me to wear them about 100 times since.  It’s not going to happen any time soon though.  Those bad boys will be in mint condition for life and even still have the tags on them.

How do you feel about Crocs?  Maybe you can help me understand the appeal. Maybe. 😉

Have a great weekend!

Good luck Erin!! I can’t wait until you meet your little guy. Thinking of you and wishing you an easy delivery. Be well.

Aw. Thanks, Lynda! Hope you’re doing great! :) (PS- I’ll be able to shop at J. Crew again soon! Haha.)

  2. No appeal for me for the crocs! Couldn’t say what people see in them! I love the somecard about eating all the junk food. That is totally me!

Somecards are the best. I am completely addicted and always think, “That is SO me!”…and yay for not being a fan of Crocs. LOL.

Crocs :) I’m from Montana so you can probably guess that I’ll be defending crocs. I definitely will only ever wear them at my house or at the lake house. Never in public (there’s no point). But, at home they are awesome for doing work in the garden/lawn/dog kennels or going from the house to the hot tub and back. They’re super comfy, easy to clean and you don’t really care much if they get chewed up by the dog!

Sorry for the late post. I just discovered your blog and love it!

Thanks for visiting! I am so glad that you like my blog, and I will not hold your love for Crocs against you. :)
