Weekend recap (in mostly pictures)
Happy Monday!
I’m going to let the pictures do most of the talking for the weekend recap today, but as you all know, I’m incapable of completely going wordless.
Anyway, here’s what went on this past weekend…
Took a family drive on Saturday through some old country towns
Ended up in York. SC on our way home and had lunch at Jasmine Cafe & Gifts
Loved the restaurant’s unique little touches (such as these cute table markers)
Ordered a grilled chicken salad with a really flavorful berry vinaigrette dressing, tomatoes, croutons, onions, cucumber, and grapes
Fed Michael his usual while we were there 
Finally went to Elwood’s Barbecue & Burger Bar for dinner where we sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather (and I wore even more coral)
Kept my grilled chicken kick alive and had a grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad and a glass of wine
Enjoyed a nice green smoothie in honor of St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday morning
Went to visit MT’s grandmother on Sunday afternoon where we had a big southern style lunch
Tried to reassure Lucy that she’s still very pretty despite the horrible new haircut she got on Saturday
Made some delicious salmon with nothing more than a little Earth Balance, sea salt, and pepper
What did you do over the weekend? MT and I also finally watched Argo and loved it. If you haven’t seen it yet, I’d definitely recommend it.

She was a little bit matted, so the groomer just shaved her bald. Poor little girl.

aww, poor lucy! My parent’s older doodle gets so embarrassed when she gets a haircut, looks like lucy does too
Your puppy looks so different with her coat shaved down. Does she act different too?! Glad you enjoyed your weekend with your family!
We have a Cockapoo and that haircut happened to her once. Now we get her groomed every 8 weeks. Most are just a bath and a trim, so she never has to look like that again. I think it itches them to get such a severe haircut.
