My favorite things (for baby)
Ladies, I have a lot of favorite things to tell you about these days.
I am going to start with my favorite things for baby today and follow-up with a health and lifestyle related favorites post soon, so make sure that you check back here!
(In case you missed it, here is my last post of favorites for baby.)
These blankets clip right onto baby swings, carriers, and strollers and are so convenient when we go out on errands. It is double-sided, so one side is soft and fluffy for baby and the other is like a mini rain shield.
Michael absolutely loves to sleep with a blanket. As soon as he sees that I’m about to put one on him, he starts to giggle and kick his legs excitedly. He really loves to sleep with a blanket pulled up over his face (a trait that he inherited from his mommy, I’m afraid). It’s cute and all, but that isn’t exactly the safest way for him to sleep, so I ordered these muslin swaddle blankets because the fabric is breathable. They not only give me some peace of mind, but he absolutely adores them! So many of my friends also recommend them, so it sounds like they’re a hit with lots of little ones.
Even if you’re not a parent, you’ve probably seen at least one child with this teether. I don’t know what it is about Sophie, but babies seem to love her!
Michael looks so stinkin’ adorable in this chair, and it makes me laugh every time I see him sitting in it. It not only entertains me, but it keeps him entertained as well. I also think that it makes him feel like a big boy. (Side note: That isn’t Michael in the photo above.)
My little guy has very sensitive skin, and this is the only bath product that hasn’t irritated it at all. It is super gentle and also smells so good. I’m almost tempted to use it on myself! (A special thank you to my friend Lindsay, who introduced me to these products.)
I’m a major fan of children’s books, and in my opinion, this is one of the cutest books ever. I read it to Michael nearly every single night before bed- and probably enjoy that ritual even more than he does.
Before I conclude this post, I have one more favorite- the song Never Grow Up by Taylor Swift. I’ve been singing and playing it for Michael ever since he was born, and it is just the sweetest song. Warning: If you’re a mommy, this song will most likely make you cry!
Do you have any baby-related things to recommend to all of the mommies out there?
Have a great day!
