Part two: Weekend recap (baby’s first Easter)

(In case you missed it, you can read part one here.  Also, I’m linking up for Mommy Monday today!)

Easter was filled with food and family time- just as it should be, right?

Here are some of the highlights…

Easter basketThe Easter Bunny came to see Michael for the very first time.

Easter donuts

On Easter morning, I baked mini doughnuts to bring to my parents.  They made the house smell incredible!

MT, Michael, and I went to Toast Cafe for Easter breakfast, and I ordered “The Runner”…again.

Later in the afternoon, we went to my parent’s house for an early Easter dinner.

There was salmon with pesto, ham, green bean casserole, bread, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and salad.  My dad even made a dairy-free fruit tart for me!

Easter Dinner

My mother made this adorable arrangement using Peeps and fruit after finding the idea on Pinterest.

I’m fairly certain that the baby enjoyed his first Easter.  It’s crazy to think that next year he’ll be able to hunt for Easter eggs!

By the way, I’m wearing my new polka dot sweater in this photo.  I’m back in stripes today though.  I clearly cannot stray from them for too long.

OK- that’s more than enough about my weekend.  How was yours?

Have a wonderful day!
