Spring finds for the home

I absolutely love adding little touches to my house to make it comfortable and inviting.

That’s probably why I love spring decorations and household items so much.  They are just so colorful, fresh, and happy!

Here are some of my recent finds…

I actually ordered the doormat this morning.  I’m in love with it!

And how cute are the measuring spoons?  I think that those might be my next purchase…

Where do you like to shop for springtime decorations?  Which season do you like to decorate your home for the most? I’d have to say that my very favorite is autumn which probably won’t come as a surprise.

 Happy Thursday!

I saw the vase in the store, and it is even cuter in person. :)

  2. Love the vase!!!

It is even prettier in person!

  3. Loving the Spring finds – those measuring spoons and vase favs:) I go with floral, bright colors, birds, bees, butterflies, etc. when I decorate for Spring. Happy Thursday!

What a sweet comment. Thank you so much! :)

  6. Yay for spring florals! Love that cheery yellow mug.

    thegrassskirt Reply:

I thought drinking some coffee or tea from that mug would be a cheery way to start the morning. :)

  7. I love the doormat and the apron. The lemon mint candle must smell divinely. Great finds! 😀

It smells fantastic! Unfortunately, they are sold out online right now, but they should still have them in the store. :)

  8. Great finds! I love the doormat and vase! So cute! Here in Florida we don’t really get real seasons so my house always looks very Spring/Summer haha.

  9. LOVE the vase (mainly because I seriously don’t know a good vase — who am i??) and the apron (because I NEED one badly haha). I love all the spring looks though, who am I kidding! I need to spring-ify my home when we get back from vacay!!

  10. I love 4 and 5!

This is the second blog I’ve read today where people have switched up their home decorating for the seasons. I change out the wreath on the door, and my flower arrangements, but other than that, I really don’t. I think i’m going to have to step it up!

FYI: I’m visiting from the First Friday blog hop. :-)

Thanks so much for visiting, Lisa! I’m off to visit yours… :)

  11. I LOVE THESE! I always told myself, when i was younger, that I would NEVER have floral patterns in my house BUT now that they are bolder and brighter–I am totally in! They aren’t your momma’s florals! I am hosting today at http://www.frugalfitfamily.com and would love if you would swingby and share!

Same here! Florals are not at all what they used to be. I remember the floral couches from the 80s. LOL.

  12. I love that pottery barn wreath!

So pretty, right? For some reason, having it would make me feel very grown-up. I just wish it was a bit cheaper!

  13. The planting a rainbow book looks super fun. Bright and colorful and perfect for little ones to explore spring time. Krista @ A Handful of Everything

It is a wonderful book for children! I was the one who wanted it since my son is only 6 months old, but I used him as my excuse anyway. 😉

  14. Kirsten

I’m putting that mug on my shopping list. I can’t wait to bring some spring cheer into my office! Thanks for sharing!

  15. What bright and cheerful things you have found for your home! Lots of great ideas.

  16. Omg I love them, I truly need some color in my life 😉 Love the pillow

  17. So sad that the mason jar candle is sold out in the lemon – it sounds amazing and so cute!

    thegrassskirt Reply:

I know! They sell the scent in their regular jars too, and it is still available. It isn’t as cute though. :(
