My August ipsy Glam Bag
Usually, I seem to be among the ipsy subscribers who receive their bags on the earlier side, but this month, it felt as though everyone and their mother got their bags before I did.
However, this month’s bag was totally worth the wait. I can honestly say that I liked every single thing that I got!
Noya Cherry Lip Balm
This is made with coconut oil, so it’s just a given that I am thrilled with it. The scent reminds me of a chapstick that I had when I was a little girl (before I was allowed to wear lipstick), and I’m always one to enjoy a trip down memory lane.
Pixi Lash Booster Mascara
Considering the fact that I just finished off the last of my Buxom mascara, the timing for receiving this mascara couldn’t have bee more perfect. The tube is sample size, but it should still get me through the next few weeks.
MICA Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in Bronze
I’ve gotten MICA products many times before in my ipsy bags. and I’ve always been happy with everything that I have tried. This bronze shadow should really bring out my blue eyes, and I cannot wait to use it!
City Color Cheek Stain
You all know that I am a blush freak, so I am a happy woman every time I get to try a new one. This cream blush is very pigmented, so I am really going to have to blend it out well. By the way, I applied way too much of my Tarte Dollface blush today and look kind of like a circus clown.
Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask
This was a very exciting surprise. I’ve used Michael Todd products before and really liked them, so I’m looking forward to a little face mask action very soon. Plus, it’s pumpkin, and I’m crazy about anything pumpkin-related.
Even though I loved this bag, I am thinking about taking a break for awhile. I’d really like to do the Citrus Lane subscription box because it is baby and mommy-oriented.
Have you ever tried Citrus Lane? Do you subscribe to ipsy? If so, what did you think of the August bag?
