5 websites I’m loving right now
If you’re anything like me at all, you’d be completely lost without your computer.
Well, I’ve recently fallen in love with some websites that have made my laptop even more valuable to me than it was already.
I think you’ll like some- if not all- of them too!
I think it’s important to stay informed and know what’s going on in the world around us, but I don’t always have the time to watch the news or read through every story on CNN’s website. The Skimm is “a daily newsletter that simplifies the headlines” and the perfect way to keep me in touch with what’s happening…right on down to the recent Jenner separation (important stuff).
This website is similar to Pinterest in that you share things that are of interest to you with other users. The difference is that you can actually purchase the items you see directly through the site, and you can earn credits toward the merchandise. If you choose to sign up, you can follow me (or “trust” me in Luvocracy speak) here.
This is honestly one of the funniest blogs I’ve read…like….ever. If you watched Full House back in the day, you know how utterly ridiculous the show was most of the time. Well, the writer of this blog has taken it upon himself to review every episode of the show from each and every season, and he does so in the most entertaining way. I’ve been reading through some older posts and trying to catch up, and doing so never fails to make me laugh.
This website pretty much has all of the bases of a healthy lifestyle completely covered. You’ll find lots of natural skincare and beauty information, recipes, personal growth and self help resources, current health topics, an online community, video interviews, and so much more. If you’re even a remotely health conscious person, you expect to get lost on Mind Body Green for hours.
If you’re a mom, you probably know about this Disney powered website already. In the past 18 months or so, I had visited it here and there, but it wasn’t until recently that I really came to appreciate Babble. And it isn’t just for parents. It’s also a great beauty, lifestyle, recipe, and home decor resource. Some of the recent articles I’ve enjoyed are 9 tips for saving money on toddlers, 10 vegan apple-infused recipes for fall, and 10 must-follow fitness pinners.
