Things I’m loving lately (February 2014)

Happy Thursday!

My list of favorites has been growing lately, so I felt like it was time to share some of them with you (especially since I’m pretty sure that one of the things on my list is on sale right now).

Things I'm loving lately

Big Spender Nail Polish

It is rare that I’ll apply the same polish for weeks in a row, but I’ve reapplied this color three times over in the past month and haven’t gotten remotely sick of it yet.  I think this is actually a perfect year-round color even though it was released in a fall collection.

Julep One-Step Polish Remover Pads

I actually received four of these pads as a free sample and almost tossed them.  I’m so glad that I saved them because I continue to be blown away by how quickly and thoroughly they remove polish with just one or two swipes.  If you travel frequently, these would be ideal.

O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Cream

I already mentioned this a few weeks back, but I had to bring it up again because it is that wonderful. This cream has completely healed my cracked, dry, nasty-looking hands, and I think that everyone should be aware of its existence.

Women’s New Balance Sneakers for J. Crew

I actually never wear sneakers (except when I’m working out or taking a walk), but I really wanted some comfy and cute shoes to wear on days when I am dressed more casually.  I fell in love with these at first sight!  J. Crew has a Spring sale going on right now online.  I’m not sure if these sneakers qualify for the 25% off discount (with code BRINGSPRING), but it’s worth checking out.  And why do things always go on sale after I buy them?

Red Velvet Cupcake Soy-Blend Candle (Target; only sold in stores)

I’ve become such a fan of Target’s soy candles lately.  The scent options are always fantastic, and a large candle is just ten dollars- which is cheap in comparison to lots of other brands. The only problem with this candle is that is makes me hungry for cupcakes!

Luna Cookie Dough Protein Bars

I tend to function best when I eat smaller but more frequent meals- typically 5-6 per day.  This is especially true when I’m pregnant. These Luna bars are so convenient when I’m on-the-go and in need of some fuel.  Do they taste like just like cookie dough?  Um…no.  But at least they won’t give me salmonella poisoning, right?

Your turn- what are some things that you’ve been loving lately?

  1. I am a fan of New Balance as well as Sketchers when it comes to having comfy and stylish shoes that do not completely scream sneaker:) Those sneakers make me think SPRING! I am loving my to-go-mug by Thermos that I received during the Holidays – keeps my drink HOT for hours. I am really digging Tek Gear athletic products – workout tops and bottoms and the socks are so comfy and compress in the right spots – love that! Happy Thursday:)

Everyone needs a good thermos! I’d be constantly drinking cold tea and coffee if it wasn’t for mine. :)

  2. The candle looks like it would smell delicious!
