Mini weekend recap & baby girl clothing haul

After lots of weather-related delays, MT finally made it home on Friday night.  We celebrated Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner of Chicken Parmesan, garlic bread, and salad.  I also made red velvet cake since it’s MT’s favorite dessert.

I looked on longingly as MT sipped his wine.  Have I mentioned that I cannot wait to be able to drink wine again? ;)

The rest of the weekend consisted of lots of family time and errands.  We also watched Captain Phillips which was so good even though it was pretty intense.  Tom Hanks is just awesome.  That’s all there is to it.  On Sunday night, we watched Enough Said.  I thought it was the cutest movie, and I’d actually love to see it again.  If you’re looking for a sweet romantic movie to watch, I definitely recommend it.

Changing the subject a bit…

I’ve been promising a baby girl clothing haul, and I wanted to get it posted while most of the items are still available in stores.

  3. I am glad to hear your man made it home – cuckoo weather lately. Cute girl clothes – love the variety of color too:) I will not rub it in too much, since you cannot drink right now, but we did some beer tasting this weekend and just enjoyed ourselves – felt good to relax. Happy Hump/Bump Day!

  5. Buying little girls is sooooooooooo much better! My daughter had that pink stripped romper from Old Navy last year. In fact I think I bought her one in every color that they had! I am a big fan of the sweet dresses that Carter makes – basically a onsie with an added layer on top. The gingham ones are just the best!
