My all-time favorite natural beauty products
Over the course of The Grass Skirt’s 3-year existence, I’ve blogged a lot about beauty products that I love- especially ones that are on the more natural side. While I’ve moved on from some of them (I suffer from beauty product ADD in a major way), there are some that have remained constant favorites. In other words, I might possibly shed a few tears if any of these products were discontinued.
Sadly, I am only half-kidding,
(Please note: Some of these products are not 100% all natural. To see how they rank as far as toxicity, visit the EWG database.)
I’ve actually only been using this for a short period of time (maybe about 2 months), but I am completely hooked. If you have oily skin, it probably isn’t for you, but if you have dry skin, your skin will drink it right up! I love the scent, but if you aren’t into scented creams, you’ll be happy to know that there is an unscented version as well.
This oil is amazing for treating acne breakouts, eczema, rosacea, and other skin issues. It also helps to heal cuts and wounds. I make sure that we keep a bottle in our house at all times.
Words cannot even express how much I love this cream. It smells so incredible that I’ve never even tried another scent. My skin feels silky smooth when I use this, and I don’t find that it is too heavy. If you are thinking about trying one thing on this list, this body cream is the one to pick. Trust me.
I mix this with my MyChelle cream at night and also wear it during the day if my skin is feeling extra dry. It also helps me achieve that desired “natural” glow.
Speaking of glowing skin, this oil is incredible when it comes to bright beautiful skin. I use it at nighttime a few times a week, and I can always see the benefits the next morning.
I’ve tried so many lip balms in my lifetime from drugstore to Dior, and nothing ever compares to this one. I apply it before bed and always wake up with soft moisturized lips.
I’m such a blush junkie, and no matter how many of them I seem to collect, I always come back to these. My favorite colors are Dollface, Tipsy, and Exposed (shown above).
