Things I’m loving lately
First order of business… I am still pregnant. This baby girl is awfully cozy in my belly! Like I keep on saying though, I know that she’ll come out when she is good and ready.
And now onto all of the things I’ve been loving lately… I actually had a really difficult time narrowing down the list this month. I’ve been using some great products!
You might recall that I mentioned this product in my 5-minute face routine, but I just had to bring it up again because I love it so much. It gives amazing coverage, blurs imperfections, and has really helped me to cut down on the amount of time I spend on my makeup. As luck would have it, IT Cosmetics is having a Friends & Family sale today, so if you want to try this cream, use the promo code CELEBRATE to save 25% off your purchase!
I’ve used lots of hair masks in my time- drugstore, high end, homemade- and this is probably my favorite to date. Despite its favorable reviews, I wasn’t really expecting any miracles when I used it for the first time, but it made my hair so soft and silky. This will be so great during the summer when my hair gets dry from the sun and chlorine.
I had been unsuccessfully searching for a truly effective paraben-free shampoo for quite awhile, and just when I was about to settle for something that was just so-so, I found this shampoo. Not only does it give a good lather (which is rare with more natural products), it makes my hair so soft and shiny. It looks like I’ve been using a shine spray!
Even though the IT Cosmetics CC cream contains sunscreen, I don’t always wear it when I am playing outside with Michael, and I like to go totally bare faced. The weather has been ah-mazing this week in Charlotte, so we’ve spent lots of time outdoors. This sunscreen is oil-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, not tested on animals, and doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin. It is basically perfect.
I have all of the Naked palettes (except for the Naked Basics one) and rotate them from time to time. It had been ages since I pulled out the Naked2, so I decided to use it again a few weeks ago and have been using it ever since. I forgot how much I love it! Some of my favorite colors are Half Baked, Verve, Bootycall, and Chopper.
I have these in the colors Rose and Poppy. They look really bold in the packaging, but I promise that they just provide a subtle natural flush. As far as the long-wearing claim, I think that would really depend on your skin type. It lasts pretty long for someone with dry skin, such as me, but I don’t know if would last all day on those with oily skin. Anyone care to chime in on that?
I originally bought this mug because my hands are always cold, and I thought the saying was just perfect. I didn’t expect to actually love the mug for practical reasons! It keeps my beverages warm and has a really secure open/close tab. It has been so convenient to take along to my doctor’s appointments, and I’d imagine that working ladies would love it too.
