Current healthy favorites
This water is just perfect for the times when I want to drink something carbonated, and it is a much healthier alternative to soda. It comes in a variety of flavors. My favorites are berry and coconut.
I recently blogged about this popcorn, and I still eat it daily. It is air-popped, GMO-free, and makes for a convenient fiber-filled snack.
Since women are not advised to drink kombucha while pregnant, it had been a long while since I bought it, but I have been making up for lost time. I need to learn how to make it at home though because this stuff is pricey!
This isn’t exactly nutritious, but it is much lighter than regular sangria. It is the first bottle of alcohol from this line by Bethenny Frankel that I have tried, and I predict that i will be drinking this a lot over the summer.
I was so incredibly good about drinking tons of water while I was pregnant, but I slacked off a tiny bit in that area after Addison was born. In order to make sure that I stay hydrated, I have been filling this water bottle twice a day, and it has really been helping. And the fact that it is pink makes me happy.
The title of this is kind of a mouthful, isn’t it? I’d probably never be able to recall the name of it without looking at the bottle, but I do know that it is rich in probiotics and helps to restore good bacteria within the body. It is supposed to enhance the immune system, improve digestion, and even reduce yeast infections. The taste is actually not bad, and I have already polished off an entire bottle.
It feels kind of random to just throw cauliflower on the list, but I have been really loving it lately (even though it was never a favorite of mine in the past). My preferred way to eat it is just by roasting it in the oven with grapeseed oil, garlic salt, and pepper. Because it doesn’t really have a strong taste, it really takes on the flavor of whatever seasonings are used.
