Must-haves for toddlers
If you have a toddler, you are probably familiar with the pain that comes from being hit by a flying sippy cup. Seriously, why do they insist on throwing everything? This little contraption wraps around the cup and then it can be attached to things like strollers, shopping carts, and high chairs, so the sippy cup can no longer be used as a projectile. It is nothing short of a lifesaver.
Michael can play with this for hours and hours. He loves splashing the water, playing with the wheel, and well…taking the whole thing apart and throwing the parts all over my backyard. Whatever entertains him though, right?
This is one of Michael’s favorite toys. I have so much fun watching him push it around the house, and it is always entertaining to peek inside and see what objects he’s collected and put inside the basket.
My son is a very picky eater at the moment. All he ever wants to eat is fruit, but that doesn’t stop me from offering him other foods. (Side note: He actually backed away from a cracker with hummus on it yesterday while shaking his head and saying, “No, no, no” repeatedly.) Unfortunately, most of what I feed him gets tossed onto the floor which, as you can surely imagine, makes a giant mess. This mat ensures that anything sticky and/or messy doesn’t totally dirty up my kitchen floor. It is very easy to wipe the mat clean, and because it is clear, it isn’t a total eye sore.
MT and I always put these disposable table toppers down when we go to a restaurant. It makes less of a mess for the waiter/waitress to clean up, but most importantly, it protects the food from nasty germs. You will always find them in my diaper bag. They are a definite essential.
Moms of toddlers- what are your current must-haves?
Have a great day!
