4 high-end green beauty brands that you’ll love

There was a time in my life (not all that long ago) when Sephora was like my own little slice of heaven on earth. I could spend hours in the store or on their website browsing makeup and skin care and filling up my basket.  There was just something about the experience that could always lift my spirits.   Part of the reason why I liked to shop there was because I am a sucker for higher-end brands and their luxurious packaging.  It just made me feel…pampered and special.

Unfortunately, Sephora isn’t an ideal place to shop when you’re into green beauty (even most of the “safer” brands that they carry are greenwashed).

Believe it or not, there are so many nontoxic brands that offer a similar shopping experience, and if you convert to the world of green beauty, you don’t have to exclusively shop at health food stores or make up homemade concoctions in your kitchen.

If you want proof, here are three phenomenal brands that you need to check out, and you’ll also find places to shop for them that are like green versions of Sephora!

4 higher end green beauty brands

Kjaer Weis

If you’re into packaging, this is the makeup brand for you.  The best part is that the packaging is reusable, and you can order refills (at a lower price) once you run out.  Products worth trying include their foundation, cream blushes (my favorite is Desired Glow), and gorgeous highlighters.

Where to shop:  The official Kjaer Weis website, Citrine Natural Beauty Bar (both online & in stores),  Spirit Beauty Lounge,  BeauTeaBar (both online & in stores), and Credo Beauty.

Kypris Antioxidant Dew

Kypris Beauty

Kypris uses only the best ingredients in their skin care, and everything comes beautifully packaged in glass bottles.  They are especially known for their highly effective serums and elixirs, and you will see a detailed post from me soon about those products.

Where to shop:  The official Kypris website, Citrine Natural Beauty Bar (both online & in stores),  Spirit Beauty Lounge,  BeauTeaBar (both online & in stores), and Credo Beauty.

Higher-end green beauty

Tata Harper

Tata Harper offers both skincare and makeup, and I have yet to hear a negative review about any of it.  I am dying to get the volumizing lip and cheek tint.  And your heart just might skip a beat when you read where you can find them!

Where to shop:  The official Tata Harper website, Citrine Natural Beauty Bar (both online & in stores),  Spirit Beauty Lounge,  BeauTeaBar (both online & in stores), Nordstrom (online & in select stores), Sephora (online & in select stores), and Credo Beauty.

May Lindstrom The Honey Mud

May Lindstrom

If you only try one thing from this brand, let it be their famous The Honey Mud gentle cleansing silk. It can even double as a face mask.  I love double duty products!

Where to shop:  The official May Lindstrom website, Citrine Natural Beauty Bar (both online & in stores),  Spirit Beauty Lounge,  BeauTeaBar (both online & in stores), and Credo Beauty.

This is just the tip of the iceberg as far as luxury green beauty.  In fact, I am sure you’ll find lots more if you spend some time browsing some of the shopping resources above.
