A look inside my first Petit Voir Box

Hello!

If you are a natural beauty product junkie, you have probably already heard of (or may even be subscribed to) Petit Vour, a monthly subscription box that contains 4 cruelty-free, non-toxic, vegan beauty products. The sample-sized and occasional full-sized products that you receive are based off the profile you complete once you register.

You can choose from their monthly, 3-month, or 6-month plans if you live in the U.S., and there is even an option for those who reside in Canada.  FYI- I am just doing the monthly plan at the moment.

I only got my first box in the mail yesterday, but I have to say, it seems like they really did go by my profile to curate the box.

Here’s what I got:

Blissoma Cleanser (Full size is $32)

I might save this sample for an up-coming family vacation we’re taking- if I can hold off that long.

Elate Lipstick in Lively ($17)

This is a full-sized lipstick, and I really like the plum, fall-ish color.  There are slight golden specks of shimmer, but they don’t show up when applied.  I do wish that the lipstick was a bit more pigmented and not quite as sheer, but overall, I really like it.  The packaging is pretty cute too!

(Update: Two minutes after I wrote this post, Addie stole this lipstick and destroyed half of it.  I think I can still use it, but…it isn’t pretty.)

Mahalo Pele Mask (Full-size is $64)

This mask is supposed to be detoxifying, and that is my favorite type of mask.  I do some kind of at-home facial every Sunday night, so I’ll use this one over the weekend and report back with my thoughts.

MSC Skin Care Exfoliating Body Scrub (Full-size is $33)

I was really excited when I saw this because I forgot to add body scrub to my last Vitacost order (see what was in that order next week).  It has a citrusy scent to me even though I don’t see any citrus fruits listed in the ingredients.  Once again, I’ll try this over the weekend and let you know what I think of it.

Full sizes of any of the products (and more) can be ordered straight through the Petit Vour website, and you earn 20% back with every purchase, which I love!

Are you a Petit Vour subscriber?  I’ll definitely try it again next month, and I am already looking forward to getting it in the mail!

  1. Addie is starting young in the makeup department – she probably gave you that look like I do no wrong too 🙂

I have been slacking a bit in the skin care routine and need to step it up again.

    Happy Day – Enjoy!

    • She was SO proud to have the lipstick. I almost felt bad about taking it away from her until I realized the damage she could do with it! Haha.

    • Major damage and chaos would have ensued for sure with a lipstick tube – ha! I used to hand my nephews a toy with a similar shape if they had a hold of something that they should not have had. I still remember coming home and my nephew had an opened, almost empty can of chili with one hand inside scooping the remains out. Before I could take it away from him my brother stated do not worry I gave that to him. I did not know if I should be more worried about the sharp edges or the outcomes of multiple diapers the next day – YIKES! The little guy was 8 to 10 months old at the time.
