Beauty Brand Spotlight: Gressa Skin (& giveaway winner!)

(Please note: While I did receive some complimentary samples, I was not paid to write this post by Gressa Skin, and as always, this post reflects my own true thoughts and recommendations.)

I’ve been testing out products by Gressa Skin for the past several weeks, and it was actually my very first experience with the brand.  I fell head over heels in love with one product in particular, so keep reading if you’re curious to learn more!

If I had to describe the brand in just one word, it would be: glamorous.  Between the product names, the packaging, and the quality ingredients, this brand just screams elegance, class, and sophistication.  I mean, even the name of the brand sounds like something a classic Hollywood movie star would have used.

I just adore brands that discredit the stereotype that green beauty products consist of grass and tree bark. What is more luxurious than rich, creamy, hydrating, natural, effective ingredients beautifully packaged in glass bottles?

If you’re unfamiliar with Gressa’s product offerings, I definitely have a few recommendations for you.

Beauty brand spotlight on Gressa Skin

Purifying Oil

I’m a huge fan of rosehip oil, and since that is one of the main ingredients of this product, it is no wonder that I like it so much.  If you deal with discoloration, fine lines, or wrinkles, you’ll probably benefit from this oil immensely. By the way, you only need to use a few drops at a time, so one bottle should last for quite awhile.

Purifying Cleanser

This is a really nice gentle foaming cleanser. It didn’t dry out my skin at all, and I was pretty impressed by how well it removed my makeup.  The scent is very light, so if fragrance bothers you, you will probably enjoy this cleanser.

Minimalist Corrective Serum Foundation

I used a serum foundation in the past and absolutely hated it.  In fact, it was one of the few times when I actually went back to Sephora to return a product. Due to that negative experience, I had extremely low expectations for this product.  Even so, I shook up the bottle, put a few very runny drops on my hand, and decided to brush it onto my face and give it a go. It isn’t an exaggeration to say that I was blown away by how beautiful this made my skin look.  It immediately evened out my skin tone and diminished imperfections while providing a very natural-looking light to medium coverage.  When I wear it (which is pretty much every day), it doesn’t look like I am wearing foundation at all.  It just looks like I have amazing skin!

Minimalist Illuminating Serum

This is one of the most beautiful highlighters that I’ve ever used. Like the foundation, it is very liquidy and runny when you squeeze out the drops, but it immediately absorbs into the skin.  I tap it onto the bridge of my nose and cheekbones for a subtle looking glow.  It would be a beautiful finishing touch to your holiday makeup looks.

Pumpkin Peel Clarifying Masque

I almost omitted this from my list because, unfortunately, it is a seasonal product and currently unavailable. Even so, this one is worth keeping on your radar, and I just couldn’t leave it out of this post.  Bookmark this, pin it, set a calendar reminder…do whatever you have to do to remind yourself to buy this next fall.

Whenever I use it, I feel like I am smearing my mother’s homemade pumpkin pie on my face.   It just smells that good.  If I use it before bed, I always wake up with the softest glowing skin- without fail.  The masque is also supposed to reduce fine lines and pigmentation.  You only need to leave it on for 3-10 minutes which I really appreciate because I always feel that I am terrifying my children when I apply face masks.   Even when I use them after the kids have gone to bed, they inevitably wake up needing something while I still have it on.

Have you tried anything from this line?  If so, let me know your favorite product!

And before I close, the winner of the Ellovi Butter giveaway is Rosie.  Congrats, Rosie!  Be sure to check your inbox for a message from me.
