Beauty Brand Spotlight on Odacite
I am writing this post tonight to calm my nerves as I watch the gymnastics portion of the Olympics. It is far and away my favorite competition, but it puts me so on edge- although not to the same extent as Aly Raisman’s parents.
There isn’t really a good way to segue from gymnastics to skincare, so I’m just going to jump right on in to it.
I recently stumbled upon a lovely brand called Odacite Skincare. It was founded by a woman named Valerie Grandury after she was diagnosed with breast cancer and sought to create a healthier lifestyle by removing toxins.
The brand is vegan, cruelty-free, non-GMO, and free of parabens, fillers, synthetic fragrance, dyes, phenoxyethanol, PEG, nanoparticles, and petrochemicals.
One of the aspects that I appreciate so much about the brand is that it addresses so many skin concerns. From aging skin to dryness to hyperpigmentation and more, they have something for everyone.
The Jo+L is supposed to help clean out the pores, and I certainly needed help with that after sweating in the hot sun all summer long. Another benefit is that it may help to minimize the appearance of pores. The lavender scent is beautiful, and I love the twice daily ritual of applying this serum.*
As for the Pa+G, it also has a lovely scent (geranium). Anyone with brown spots, aging skin, or dullness will most likely see some benefits after using the serum.
While I have only been using them for three weeks, I do feel as though I’ve seen fewer breakouts and my skin tone is a bit more even (so much so that I’ve dared to brave the world bare-faced several times recently).
*If you have oily skin, I’d recommend only applying these serums at nighttime, as they are quite hydrating.
After religiously using these two serums, I’m definitely a believer and cannot wait to sample some other products. The Deep Hydration Masque will be idea when fall and winter come around, and I’ve been on the hunt for a new eye cream.
If you are a fan of Odacite, I would love to know what products are your favorite!
