Friday Favorites (6/26)

Happy Friday! This week’s favorites all seem to fall into either one of two categories: food or minimalism (although I guess that the last one technically falls under both). Be sure to leave your favorites in the comments, so I can shop… I mean, check them out. Coco-Roons I kind of wish that I didn’t discover these because they’re slightly addictive.  But the ingredient list is pretty awesome (and short!), so I can almost convince myself that eating the whole bag within a day isn’t the worst thing in the...

Products I’ve used up lately & my thoughts on each one (#3)

Yep.  I am still plowing through my never-ending stash of products. (See past empties posts here and here.) Does anyone else get excited when they finish an entire bottle of something?  Perhaps I need to set higher goals for myself, but to me, it feels like a mini accomplishment. Here are all of the products that I have finished up since my last update! Review of Gorgeous for Good: A Simple 30-Day Program for Lasting Beauty – Inside and Out

Switching to nontoxic products can be very overwhelming in the beginning.  When I first started, I really could have used a beginner’s guide or a cheat sheet as far as what brands to consider. Well, as many of you know, I created a list of brands to try, and I hope it has been helpful!  And Sophie Uliano’s latest book Gorgeous for Good: A Simple 30-Day Program for Lasting Beauty – Inside and Out serves as the most perfect guide to getting started.  As soon as I saw it on my recommended reading list on Amazon, I knew that I...

Happy Friday! This week, I have some new things and an old favorite to share with you.  I look forward to reading comments about what is on your favorites list this week!   The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing The title of this book is very suitable because the book truly is life-changing- and I imagine that it would have an even greater impact on someone who is disorganized or has accumulated a lot of clutter.  The basic concept is that we should only keep items in our home that bring...

Friday Favorites (5/8)

Here are this week’s favorites! As always, I’d love to read about what products, shows, clothing (or whatever!) you’ve been enjoying lately, so be sure to leave a comment. LaCroix Sparkling Water in Coconut The LaCroix website calls this “summer in a can”, and I’d say that is a pretty accurate statement.  It is supposedly also a really good drink mixer, so I need to get a jump on that soon!  I’ve been drinking a can of it every evening (without alcohol) while I am making dinner, and it somehow takes...

Friday Favorites (5/1)

(Visit The Mini Skirt for my mommy favorites.) Happy first day of May! I am so glad that many of you enjoyed my post about natural cleaning methods and products.  If you’d like to see more posts like that one in the future, I’ll be more than happy to deliver. As for this week’s favorites, I have food, fashion, beauty, and entertainment, so let’s get to it! Burt’s Buzz MT was away on business earlier in the week, and I figured it would be the perfect time to finally watch this documentary. I cannot go into too...
