Friday Favorites (2/6)
Like a total fangirl, I am ridiculously excited about the first favorite on my list this week…
I could honestly go on for a solid week about how they managed to capture all of the amazingness of the original show into an 8 minute spoof. If you were or are a SBTB fan at all and haven’t seen the clip, you absolutely must watch it. It is amazing. And seriously, they have all aged so well- even in HD!
At Christmastime, the Hallmark Channel played sappy holiday-themed romantic movies, and both my sister and I were hooked. Well, the network has been playing the same type of movies leading up to Valentine’s Day, and my DVR is now saturated with chick flicks. Clearly, I am a fan of cheesy television.
It might come as a surprise to you given the fact that I am such a health nut, but I started to eat chia pudding only just recently. The texture might be a turn-off to some people, but I don’t mind it. It makes for the perfect after dinner snack, and I love mixing in a little bit of fruit or cacao nibs. If your’re interested in seeing exactly how I make it, please leave a comment, and I will do a follow-up post!
LAVANILA was kind enough to send this nontoxic rollerball for me to sample, and I have really been enjoying the fresh, clean scent. It is a nice fragrance to wear on days when I don’t want to wear something too bold and overpowering. I used to wear the plain vanilla scent as well and absolutely loved it.
I’m a big fan of vitamin C serums in general for their brightening and anti-aging benefits and knew that I had to try this one as soon as I read that it contains turmeric. If you have been interested in trying a turmeric treatment, such as the ones in Monday’s post, but don’t think you can handle the smell or potential temporary discoloration, this serum is a really good way to add it to your beauty routine.
Did you watch the SBTB reunion on Jimmy Fallon? What did you think of it?
