Friday Favorites (5/8)

Here are this week’s favorites!

As always, I’d love to read about what products, shows, clothing (or whatever!) you’ve been enjoying lately, so be sure to leave a comment.

LaCroix sparkling coconut water

LaCroix Sparkling Water in Coconut

The LaCroix website calls this “summer in a can”, and I’d say that is a pretty accurate statement.  It is supposedly also a really good drink mixer, so I need to get a jump on that soon!  I’ve been drinking a can of it every evening (without alcohol) while I am making dinner, and it somehow takes the hassle and annoyance out of having to cook.

Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting BHA Liquid

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid

I’ve recently become a total Paula’s Choice convert, and right now, this is my favorite product in the line.  It has really evened out my skin tone and helped to clear up a few blackheads.  While the line isn’t natural (unfortunately), I do appreciate how it doesn’t use any unnecessary ingredients or fillers.  Feel free to use my referral code!

Neocell Super Collagen

Neocell Super Collagen

I’ve been taking 3 of these pills every morning for the past 2 weeks, and they have strengthened my nails so much.  They are also supposed to improve skin and hair, but I haven’t seen those results just yet (fingers crossed!).  I actually bought them because they are supposed to be good for the joints, and since I have rheumatoid arthritis, I figured that they’d be worth trying.  I’ll keep you posted!

Erin Foster and Sara Foster

Barely Famous

My sister told me about this VH1 reality show starring Erin Foster and Sara Foster, so I decided to tune in.  With starts like Kate Hudson, Nicole Richie, and Jessica Alba making appearances, it is packed with celebrities, and you never know who is going to show up next.  It is also really funny and free of all of that unnecessary drama that most reality shows have right now.  In fact, I am pretty sure that it is a scripted reality show.  There are only four episodes so far (which I have been watching for free on the VH1 website), and I really hope that it gets renewed for a second season!

TOX- Sick (from toxic to not sick)

TOX-SICK: From Toxic to Not Sick

This book has changed my life.  It is kind of an extreme statement, but it is seriously the truth.  Since reading it, I have told so many friends and family members to read it as well.  I’ve learned so much about the toxins that we’re exposed to each day (when I thought that I already knew so much!), and I have made many lifestyle changes as a result.  I’m actually going to do a post all about the book on Monday, so if you’re intrigued, definitely look out for it.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Oooh, I’m excited to try the Paula’s Choice! I just bought it on Amazon. Thanks for the recommendation!

    • That’s awesome! Let me know what you think of it. The line has truly transformed my skin, and I am so happy with it. 🙂 The PC website is also really informative and a great resource.
