Friday Favorites (6/26)
This week’s favorites all seem to fall into either one of two categories: food or minimalism (although I guess that the last one technically falls under both).
Be sure to leave your favorites in the comments, so I can shop… I mean, check them out.
I kind of wish that I didn’t discover these because they’re slightly addictive. But the ingredient list is pretty awesome (and short!), so I can almost convince myself that eating the whole bag within a day isn’t the worst thing in the world.
Down south, the peaches that you can buy around this time of the year are pretty much the most wonderful things in the world. I’ve been hitting up the farmers market once or twice a week to get my fix, and I have been loving them plain, in oatmeal, in smoothies, and even on top of chicken. I’ll probably shed a tear or two when peach season is over.
If you read my post on Wednesday, this one won’t surprise you in the least. I even started to make it at home. It is just so fresh and summery! I actually had it again last night at my parent’s house- only the restaurant forgot to add in the chicken and the pecans. Perhaps that was their way of letting me that I’ve reached my quota?
If you’re a product junkie, such as myself, you should definitely read this post. It offers practical advice for cutting down on your beauty routine without advising you to give up each and every one of your favorite products. It is all about finding a simple, practical routine that works for you!
I fell in love with another YouTube channel this week by Melissa Alexandria. I had trouble sleeping the other night and pretty much binged watched all of her videos. On her channel, Melissa shares tips about how to become a minimalist, and she is also a super healthy eater and features lots of vegan recipes. Definitely tune in!
If you like to see personal pics and anecdotes, visit The Mini Skirt because I posted quite a few this week.
