Friday Favorites (6/5)
It has been pretty busy around here lately- all good things, including a new business opportunity that I cannot wait to tell you about- which is why I have been posting less frequently. I hope to get back to a more predictable posting schedule within the next few weeks.
Despite the craziness, I’ve managed to keep things interesting around here with some new (to me) discoveries.
These wraps are one of Kimberly Snyder’s delicious creations. They’ve also been my lunch several times this week. The Raw Taco Gorilla Wraps are easy, light, healthy, and filling. If you want to see exactly how to make them, just watch this video.
I like to add some of this bee pollen to my smoothies as a natural sweetener, but the real reason why I use it is because of the nice energy boost it gives me! Bee pollen is also packed with amino acids, vitamins B (with the exception of B12), C, and E, and may even speed up the metabolism. Just a tiny bit goes a long way!
I realized not so long ago that even though my house was very organized, my purse was a whole different story. It was basically a black hole. I bought a Pouchee for my mother as a Mother’s Day gift and decided that I needed one of my own to keep my purse in check. It is basically a little pouch that you can use to store things like lipstick, sunglasses, money, your phone, credit cards, and keys. The Pouchee keeps my bag super organized, and the best part is that when I want to switch over to another bag (which I do quite often), all I have to do is drop it in and all of my things are transferred in an instant. There are so many colors, styles, and patterns to choose from, and I can tell you first hand that their customer service is awesome.
If you read yesterday’s post, you know that I am newly in love with Sophie Uliano. I’ve been watching her YouTube channel like crazy lately for videos about essential oils, healthy recipes, and beauty and fitness tips. Definitely check it out!
I am a bit late to comment on Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover, but I do want to say that, even though I cannot relate to the struggle that she must have felt throughout her 65 years of life, I think it is wonderful and beautiful whenever anyone has the courage to truly be themselves. Seeing this cover definitely made me smile.
Have a great weekend!
