Friday Favorites (11/14)

Happy Friday!

This was one of those weeks where I didn’t even have to think for a split second about what I would include in my favorites post.  So, let’s get right to everything!

Veggie-Go's

Veggie-Go’s

These are basically a version of fruit snacks or fruit leathers, but they are much healthier with simple ingredients and no added sugars.  I’ve been snacking on the Mountain Berry Spinach flavor all week long.  It’s the perfect snack to toss in my purse or diaper bag when I am on the go (as the name of this product suggests).

Essential oils

Oh my goodness.  I am on such an essential oils kick.  I’ve been using them on myself, in my homemade cleaning products, and even on my children (visit The Mini Skirt for more on the latter).  It is amazing how effective they can be.  You can expect a post all about essentials oils very soon!

Numi-Organic-Jasmine-Green-Tea

Numi Organic Tea Jasmine Green, Full Leaf Green Tea

MT and I have both been drinking this tea lately.  Even if you aren’t a fan of traditional green tea, you might still enjoy this tea since the green tea flavor is very subtle (as is the taste of jasmine).  I actually love the Numi brand in general because it is 100% real, organic, Fair Trade Certified, and non-GMO verified.  Their tea bags are also biodegradable.

Physician's Formula Super CC Cream

Physicians Formula Super CC+ Color-Correction + Care CC+ Cream SPF 30

This probably isn’t the most natural CC cream in existence, but it is hypoallergenic, oil free, paraben free, gluten free, fragrance free, and non-comedogenic, so that’s a start. I’ve been wearing it all week in place of foundation and actually find that the coverage is fantastic!  I love how it gives my skin kind of a dewy finish especially since I tend to be drier during this time of the year. It also wears well and lasts all day long (which is perfect when you don’t have time for touch-ups).

Begin-Again

Begin Again

MT and I watched this movie on Sunday, and we both really enjoyed it.  The movie stars Mark Ruffalo (loved him since 13 Going on 30), Keira Knightley (so gorgeous!), and Adam Levine (who was surprisingly very good).  I don’t want to give too much away, so I’ll just tell you that you need to watch it and leave it at that.  The soundtrack is also wonderful, and Keira Knightley did all of her own singing in the movie.  I never knew that she had such a beautiful voice!  Talented and pretty…must be nice. 😉

Have you see Begin Again?  What did you think of it?

Have a great weekend!

  1. AHH i need to know more about essential oils. i have walked by them many, many times at whole foods but get intimidated. i did however get a roll-on jasmine and rosemary oil in a subscription box one time. i just found it last night and rolled it on. i’m also curious about acupuncture. have you done that? you know i totally trust you!

    • I actually did acupuncture before I got pregnant with Michael! We were having some issues conceiving, and I got pregnant as soon as I started with the acupuncture. It might have been a coincidence, but I swear that there is something to it. 🙂

  2. I want to see Begin Again and I enjoy Adam Levine as an actor – he did pretty good in American Horror Story Asylum. I am drinking more tea this time of the year and enjoy checking out the tea aisle to see what grabs my attention. I love fruit leather, so will have to see if I can find this one and check it out. Happy Weekend 🙂

    • This was the first time that I saw Adam act in anything, and I really was impressed! I am drinking some Jasmine Green tea right now. It smells incredible. Have a great weekend!
