Happy Father’s Day

When I was a child and I got into trouble, the very worst phrase that my mother could say was, “Wait until your father comes home.”

But through the years, things tend to change.

Rather than hiding from my father when I’m in a predicament or need help, I turn to him instead.

Despite all of the lame jokes, the fact that he thinks he can sing like Meat Loaf, and that he wears high white socks with his shorts, I know that he’ll always be there for me no matter what the circumstance.

Thank you, dad for all that you’ve done for me- and even for mildly entertaining me with your bad jokes.

Happy Father’s Day! I love you!
