Health-inspired holiday gifts

Last night, I made about 8 dozen cookies, and they weren’t even remotely healthy.

I couldn’t stop myself from eating them and sent a text to Michael asking for a cookie intervention.

The holidays just wouldn’t be the same without cookies!

I do think that we should balance out the indulgences with healthier things too, of course.  In fact, today I am going to share some recommendations for health-inspired holiday gifts.

Happy shopping!

For health nuts

  • Subscription to Lollihop– I saw this for the first time on Christina’s blog and think it is an awesome idea.  Subscribers get a box of healthy treats on their doorstep each month.  It is like a dream come true for people like me!
  • Customized nutrition bars by You Bar

For runners and workout enthusiasts

  • Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS-Enabled Sport Watch with Heart Rate Monitor (This one is pink!)
  • e-Tip running gloves from Lucy (perfect for winter)
  • Run: Swiftly tech long sleeve by Lululemon

For swimmers

For yogis (as in, people who practice yoga- not the offspring of Yogi the Bear)

For pampering

For the kitchen

Stocking Stuffers

  • The Ginger People ginger chews  (I buy mine at Earth Fare and Trader Joe’s)
  • Artisana Cacao Bliss (Fine.  That jar might make the stocking a little fat and misshapen, but it is totally worth it.)
  • Adora calcium disks (They are made of chocolate!)
  • Nonslip Bic Bands to keep hair in place during workouts (I love the sparkly ones!)
  • KIND bars or Larabars

Have you started your holiday shopping yet?  I’m proud to say that I only need to buy one more gift.  I was efficient this year!

Have a wonderful weekend!

(You have until midnight tonight to enter the Navitas Naturals giveaway.  The winner will be announced on Monday.  Good luck!)
