Mom and sister lunch date & healthy eats from the week


Happy Friday!

I’m currently in fasting mode, which does not make me a happy camper, because I have another glucose screening this morning.  Luckily, my appointment is early, so I shouldn’t be starving for too long.

I’m so dramatic.

Back to happier times, my mom, sister, and I all went to Subway together for lunch yesterday afternoon.  It had been awhile since the three of us had a lunch date, so it was a nice little treat.

I got my usual Veggie Delite on 9-grain honey oat with the sweet onion sauce on the side.  Delicious as always!


I’m a very happy Subway customer.


I think that they should hire me as their new spokesperson.  It would be a pretty sweet deal for them because I’d only insist on being compensated in sandwiches.  🙂

Anyway, I’m going to try to plan another girly lunch date sometime soon because it was lots of fun!


I actually have more healthy eats from the week than I expected given the fact that I was on vacation for most of it…

I’m off to the doctor’s office to drink some nasty orange sugar water!

  1. Ugh I have never had a baby, but I have given that test to people and drinking that stuff just looks awful. Those salads look amazing! Sadly my airport snack would probably include resse’s cups as well. :-/ haha

    I love Subway! My favorite sandwich by them is the Subway Club. I got big 6 footers for the day after my wedding for my family haha.
