My Current Nighttime Skin Care Routine

It has taken a very long time to find a nighttime regime that really works for me and my dry skin, but I finally have one that I love.

You’ll notice that some of the products are natural and some are not.  For now, I’m totally OK with that because my skin has been responding so well to them.  I’m always open to hearing your recommendations though!

1.  Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil

It is definitely weird to put oil on your face if it is your first time, but I swear that I’ll never go back to any other nighttime cleanser.  This oil not only takes off every bit of my makeup, but it is also hydrating and very gentle.

2.  Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning Toner

You may recall that I also use this toner as part of my morning routine.  The reason why I also use it at night is because it removes any excess dirt and makeup and keeps my pores nice and clean.

3.  Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair

I’ve been using this wrinkle cream by Neutrogena for about a week and purchased it after reading rave reviews.  Being that I’m fairly new to it, I cannot really speak for the results just yet.   It hasn’t irritated my skin at all though, and I love the way it smells and feels on my skin.  I’ll keep you posted on whether I’ve noticed any visible effects (good and/or bad) after I’ve used it for a bit longer.

4.  Reviva Labs Alpha Lipoic Acid Vitamin C Ester and DMAE Cream

This is honestly the very best night cream that I have ever used.   It makes my skin super duper hydrated and soft.  When I wake up in the morning, I seriously cannot stop touching my face because it feels so nice.

5.  Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System

I use my Clarisonic about twice a week for a deep cleaning and good exfoliation.  It really makes my skin smooth.  Unfortunately, if I use it more than a few times a week, my skin gets irritated (even with the sensitive brush head).  However, I’d still highly recommend getting one.  I swear that my pores look smaller since I started using it about a year ago.

6.  Cococare Coconut Oil

You all know that I love coconut oil, so it shouldn’t be any surprise that I apply this to my lips each night before bed.  It makes them so soft!

What does your nightly routine look like?  Do you have any recommendations for anti-wrinkle creams?  I’m all ears!

  1. Thanks for sharing Erin. I just ordered the SeaBuckthornWonders berry oil and exfoliating cleanser. I love hearing what natural products other women recommend and I know you have beautiful glowing skin. I also shared your 50 uses for coconut oil with a friend this morning because we were just talking about it the other day. Love all your tips!

    • I’m so glad that you ordered the oil and cleanser! Let me know how you like them. 🙂

I probably won’t be going to any conferences in the near future, but I’ll keep you posted if that changes! I’d LOVE to see you at one again!

    • PS- Thanks for sharing my list! 🙂

  2. After reading this I need to up my nightime routine because I hardly do anything except moisturize and lotion. I do exfoliate really good after a gym night though. Thanks for sharing – Happy Hump Day:)

  3. Love these ideas! My skin is a mess. I’m going to have to check out some of these.
