My Green Beauty Wish List (February 2016)

To stay on budget, my husband and I have a monthly allowance that we each use to buy fun things for ourselves (outside of all the necessities).  I have been keeping a notebook for the past two years that I use to record all of the beauty, skin care, clothing, and jewelry items that I am coveting.   I refer back to the notebook each month to see what really catches my eye at that time.  With this little habit, I end up spending my allowance on things that I truly want- rather than making impulse purchases.

I thought that you might like to see some of the green beauty things that are on my list from time to time, so here are the current standouts!

February 2016 Green Beauty Wish List

Kypris Beauty Elixir I

I’m using several other Kypris products at the moment, and I love them so much that I want to try everything.  The Beauty Elixir I is supposed to be great for hormonal skin issues, and since my skin still hasn’t recovered from pregnancy, I think that I could really benefit from using it.

May Lindstrom’s The Youth Dew

This promises glowing ageless skin, so I mean, how could I not want it? Seriously though, many of the ladies at Citrine Natural Beauty Bar have said that they use this, and they all have gorgeous skin.  Not a bad endorsement!

Kjaer Weis Foundation

This is a cult favorite in the green beauty world, and I sort of feel like the only person on planet earth who hasn’t purchased it yet.

Red Apple Lipstick in Mabel

I’m a big Red Apple Lipstick fan,  so I don’t find it hard to believe all of the hype around this shade.  Here’s a really good video by The Green Bunny where you can see swatches of it- along with several other beautiful colors.

Leahlani Skincare Siren Serum

This serum is made by the same shop as my beloved Mermaid Mask, and she has recently introduced lovely new packaging. The serum consists of many essential oils that “promote cellular regeneration and help to heal and protect the skin from UV damage.” (source)

Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel

The Lily Lolo mascara is still a favorite of mine, but I’ve been hearing pretty great reviews about this one for awhile…and you know how it is when you’re a beauty junkie!

What is on your wish list?

Do you have any plans for Valentine’s Day?  MT and I are actually going on a date, and I couldn’t be more excited!

  1. So happy to find a fellow natural beauty blogger. I wanted to try my hands on the kjaer weis foundation. How is the application and consistency? is it dry?

    • Hi Surekha!

What a beautiful name. I haven’t tried the Kjaer Weis just yet! I am actually a little hesitant because my skin is on the dry side, and I keep hearing that it isn’t the best for my skin type. I’ll update if use it!
