Products I’ve used up lately & my thoughts on each one (#7)

I’ve been really good about using things up lately before I buy anything new. As a result, whoa…I have a serious empties collection to share with you today.
Sit back, relax, and sip on a cup of tea. This may take awhile.
I used this on my body, and it had a really nice scent. That being said, it was a giant pain in the you-know-where to work into my skin, so I am not going to buy it again. I think it would possibly work better as a hand cream though.
Hands down my favorite sunscreen to date. It doesn’t clog my pores or look too greasy, and it makes my makeup go on smoothly. I’m actually sampling something else at the moment, but something tells me that I’ll be repurchasing this again very soon. (See my full review here.)
I like this nail polish remover so much that I actually dedicated an entire post to it last October. Needless to say, I already repurchased another bottle.
I actually have two empty bottles of this toothpaste. It’s definitely my favorite natural toothpaste, and unless I find something that works even better, I’ll continue to buy it.
Loved this lotion! The scent was light and very appropriate for the summer, and the lotion melted right into my skin. I’m actually using another scent right now that you’ll be hearing about soon.
I didn’t love this, but I didn’t hate it. It worked well enough, but I probably won’t purchase it again. Oddly enough, this was actually a repurchase, so either the formula changed or my needs/preferences are different now.
This came as a sample, and I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get past the texture, and it didn’t make my face feel very clean. I’ve heard positive things about the brand however and would definitely sample something else.
It has been hard for me to find a safer perfume that I really like, so I was very happy that this one was a winner. The scent is very tropical and summery, so I wore it often in July and August. The only bummer is that the smell wears off very fast, so I had to reapply multiple times throughout the day.
I’ve talked this up so much already that I won’t bore you with repeat information. You can read my review for my details about the product. I will say that it is an incredibly effective serum, and I will repurchase it for as long as my skin likes it.
I’m doing these together because I initially blogged about them in the same post. They were both fantastic, but I ran out of them so quickly. I’m talking just a couple of weeks! I am not the only one with that issue, and I’ve read that mixing just a few drops into my moisturizer will make the product last a bit longer. (Sign up for their newsletter to save 10%.)
This is my favorite vitamin C serum for really brightening my skin. I’m already well into my second bottle and will absolutely be getting a third shortly. More about this serum and serums in general here.
This was a favorite for awhile, but then I noticed that it was maybe stripping my skin of oils just a bit too much. If you have oily skin or like for your face to feel super super clean, you will love this. I’ve also talked to women who says that their boyfriends and husbands use it! By the way, a little goes a long way. One bottle lasted for several months.
Amazing, amazing, amazing natural mascara! I just wish that it was easier to get my hands on it. Read my full review for more info!
This has been a staple in my skincare routine for quite some time. If you are in the market for an inexpensive yet effective way to exfoliate your face, this is for you.
Suzanne Somers won me over after I read her book Tox-Sick (read my review). When I learned about her natural makeup and skincare, I knew I had to try it, and this serum was my first purchase from her line. It was very lightweight but provided some hydration at the same time. I haven’t repurchased it, however, because, while I liked it, it didn’t really wow me. Still this won’t be the last Suzanne product that I try.
I probably used up five of these throughout spring and summer. It’s no secret that I am a Mrs. Meyer’s freak, and I am actually using an apple cider scent right now that is putting me in the fall spirit.
I actually have several more empty containers, but I am going to quit while you’re still conscious. Let me know if you’ve used any of these, and if you have a more natural perfume recommendation, I am all ears.
I’m off to pay a visit to my recycling bin!
