Thanksgiving weekend recap

Happy Cyber Monday!

Please tell me that I’m not the only one who took advantage of the amazing online deals today.  Christmas shopping is officially done!

But let’s back-up to Thanksgiving…

We had a wonderful weekend eating, spending time with family, and decorating for the holidays.

MP & MT Thanksgiving 2013My boys sharing a sweet tender moment together.  I swear, they are two peas in a pod.

applesauceI made my homemade applesauce for probably about the 10th year in a row.  This year, I used the slow cooker because I was hoping that it would make the house really fragrant.

Surprisingly, I couldn’t smell a thing!  For a pregnant lady who is all into scents these days, it was pretty disappointing.  At least it tasted good.

Family Thanksgiving 2013Here’s the decorated table along with my salad and dinner plates.  My mom has such a knack for decorating.  Luckily, I inherited some of her abilities, but her talents are far superior to mine.

MP eatingMichael discovered the appetizers and raided the cracker tray.  Then he came down with a serious case of the giggles at dinner.

We’ve been putting those leftovers to good use for the past few days, and I think we’re finally out of turkey.  Don’t get me wrong- I love turkey, but a girl can only handle so much!

I actually have a few more pictures from the weekend, but I figured that I’d save those for this Friday’s post.  Make sure you check on back. 🙂

All those who celebrated Thanksgiving- how was your weekend? Are you also sick of turkey?

Have a great day!
